5 Tips for Sticking to Your Weekly Workout Routine

Stick to your weekly workout routine

You’ve made up your mind. This week is going to be different. No matter what, you are going to stick to your exercise schedule!

Suddenly you look up from your desk and catch the clock in the corner of your eye. It can’t be that late?! You get a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach as you glance at your to-do list and the reality sinks in, there is no time for the workout you promised yourself. Your weekly workout routine has gone down in flames once again.

If you are nodding your head in agreement, I understand how you feel.  My first year working from homes was overwhelming. Everything was new, the industry, the work environment, the skills for success. If I had a nickel for every day I was at the computer in my gym clothes without a workout at 10 pm, I would be rich!

It left me frustrated and wondered what was going to happen to my fitness levels and my weight if this seemingly never-ending cycle continued. Frustration turned to annoyance. Annoyance turned to action. I needed to do something to stick to my weekly workout routine.
